How to Get People to Follow You on Instagram

So, you’ve created an Instagram account for your business and want to know how to get people to follow you on Instagram. Getting followers on Instagram isn’t as difficult as it may seem. An increase follower count on your Instagram page can increase your brand exposure and can even bring you new customers for your business. In this article, I will show you what I’ve done to gain followers on Instagram.

Set your page up correctly

The first thing you want to do when you create your Instagram account is to add a profile picture of either your real face or your logo for your business. This will help people know that your Instagram page is real and not a spam account.

Write a good bio

Now that you have your profile picture, you’ll need to right a bio for your page. Your bio should include what your business is and what you do. Let people know what your page is about and what it will offer them if they decide to follow you on Instagram.

Here’s an example of a good Instagram bio:

“Natural and organic body wash products. Follow to see before and after skin results. Try our new acne cream, limited supply.”

Add content

Most people are not interested in following an Instagram account that has no photos or videos. So take about 3-6 photos of your products and post them on your Instagram page. It is important to post consistently and at least once each day to keep your audiences interest. If your Instagram account becomes stale from lack of posts, people may start to unfollow your page.

Follow people

when you first create a page, no one will know it exists unless you show them. Start adding people to your following list. You can follow people you know such as family and friends who are more likely to follow you back because they know you. This will show other people who view your page that it’s interesting and other people think so too.

You should also follow people you don’t know who may be interested in your Instagram content. Find people to like on pages that are similar to yours. For example, if you sell beauty products, scroll through another beauty page and add some of their followers to your following list.

Wait a week to see if anyone has followed you back. If you’ve gain followers, great! Keep them around. For all the others that didn’t follow your page back, you can simply delete them to make space for new followers.

That’s all I have for now, I hope this information helps you in some way. If you find this content helpful or if you’d just like to show me some love, share this to anyone and everyone. Thank you and have an awesome day!
